No matter what the cause for adoption, Poarch Law can assist by managing the case to a happy, final conclusion in the courts. Poarch Law also assists with parental placement adoptions and domestic “re-adoptions” for children adopted internationally and later brought to the U.S.
How long will it take for our adoption to be finalized with the court?
On a simple agency placement adoption, the court process is quick and depends on the jurisdiction where the adoption is filed. Usually, adoptions are concluded within four to six months in most jurisdictions from the time of our initial consultation through the final adoption order.
How do I order the birth certificate for our child?
The adoption filing itself includes a request for the court to change the child’s name, if the family wishes, and to make appropriate changes to the child’s birth certificate.
